IQE Europe Awarded Sony Green Partner Accreditation

Following a recent formal assessment by global electronics giant Sony, IQE’s III-V epitaxy business in Cardiff, Wales has been awarded the coveted “Green Partner” accreditation. In order to achieve the Sony Green Partner status, the company demonstrated its clear commitment to Environmental Management in all aspects of its business activities. IQE’s silicon operation in Cardiff and the substrate manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes have achieved ISO14001 certification during the last year and IQE Europe Ltd is on target for achieving the standard during 2007.
