Northrop Grumman awards Gold Subcontractor Status to IQE’s New Jersey Operation.
IQE plc (AIM: IQE), the leading global supplier of advanced wafer products and
wafer services to the semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce that its
New Jersey operation which specialises in contract manufacturing of RF (Radio
Frequency) components, has been awarded Gold Subcontractor Status by one of its
customers.
Northrop Grumman’s Space Technology Group has awarded the Gold status to IQE-RF,
in recognition of the service level provided by the company in terms of timely
deliveries, reporting quality and the overall customer relationship.
Commenting on the award, Northrop Grumman stated “IQE’s technical findings
coupled with our research, continues to push the program towards its ultimate
goal. This award is well deserved”
Dr Drew Nelson, IQE Chief Executive, commented: “We are proud to have received
this recognition from one of our partners. The award acknowledges IQE’s absolute

The award was made under Northrop Grumman’s Supplier Rating Program which
categorises its key suppliers of products and services with the Gold Award being
the highest level achievable.
