IQE Silicon Compounds wins Materials Award

IQE plc (IQE), the leading global outsource supplier
of customised epitaxial wafers to the semiconductor industry, is pleased to
announce that its IQE Silicon business is the winner of the “Enabling Materials”
section of the Eurosemi IC Industry Awards 2005 to be presented at Semicon West
in San Francisco later this week.
The Company was nominated for its world leading work on bulk strained silicon
substrates and won the award based on votes received from within the
semiconductor industry. Group CEO Drew Nelson and IQE Silicon Sales Manager Ali
Hoy are in San Francisco to receive the award. |
