IQE’s Infrared division presents invited papers at SPIE DCS

Cardiff, UK, 10 April 2017: IQE plc (AIM: IQE; "IQE", the "Group"), the leading global supplier of advanced semiconductor wafer products and services to the semiconductor industry, will present papers on recent key developments in advanced infrared technologies at SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing conference (DCS).
IQE’s Infrared business unit has established a strong presence at SPIE DCS with the presentation of a number of papers based on developments and commercialisation of advanced infrared materials. Complementing papers demonstrating the development of large diameter antimonide substrates will be two presentations covering IQE’s five-year contribution to the Vital Infrared Sensor Technology Acceleration (VISTA) program, from which an industry-leading range of GaSb substrate and epitaxial material technologies has been developed. Furthermore, IQE’s infrared materials portfolio has been now been expanded further by the addition of another industry critical infrared material, cadmium zinc telluride (CZT), our paper describing the development of this material through to commercialization. Collectively these developments enable IQE to offer an industry leading range of infrared materials, providing full spectrum coverage across a wide and diverse range of detector and sensing applications.
