Dr Drew Nelson presented with Lifetime Achievement Award at Elektra 2013

Cardiff, UK, 28 November 2013 - IQE plc (AIM: IQE, “IQE”), the leading global supplier of advanced semiconductor wafer products and wafer services to the semiconductor industry, announces that its Group CEO Dr Drew Nelson has been presented with the Electronics Weekly, Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards.
The award is in recognition of Dr Nelson’s contribution to the electronics and semiconductor industries and was presented at a gala ceremony in London, UK on 27 November 2013.
Accepting the award, Dr Nelson said:
“I am deeply honoured to receive this award and delighted and proud to have been involved is such a fast paced global industry that has had a major impact on the way we live, work, play and communicate.
