Process Engineer

The Role:
The role is based on a 37.5 hour working week, Monday to
Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, although a great deal of
flexibility is required.
Primary Responsibilities
-
Day-to-day responsibility for process engineering team.

Motivation and development of process engineers.
Ensuring objectives are set and necessary training plans
are achieved to develop team.

Day
to day reporting of performance metrics and ensuring
bays deliver required product on time and to cost.

Liaison with other teams (Maintenance/Technology and
production) to ensure customer has quality product.

Management/implementation of improvement projects to
lift performance to world class standards.

Management of yield improvement and cost control.
Secondary Objectives
-
Support to product managers and provide technical
support to customers, via conference calls and meetings.

Provide support to sales during customer visits to site.

Hands
on support of production tools (Inspections/Scheduling/Programming etc.,)
Essential Requirements
-
Solid understanding of
MOVPE process and characterisation methods, minimum
Degree qualified or equivalent.

Excellent interpersonal
skills with ability to communicate at all levels.

Ability to motivate and
develop a small team.

Must
be a team player, willing to tackle difficult tasks and
take responsibility.
