To provide hands on Equipment Engineering support by maintaining the various systems in terms of, breakdown maintenance planned preventative maintenance, record keeping and performance.
Key Functions to the role are as follows:
The day-to-day maintenance of manufacturing systems.
Maximising the uptime of all equipment necessary for production.
Continual Improvement of reliability and performance of systems and equipment.
To service and refurbish various machine components to the required standards.
To follow set work instructions when carrying out machine source material changes.
To liaise with line manager or equipment specialist on a regular basis to determine current priorities.
To pursue personal objectives decided at appraisal
Able to prioritise effectively, make decisions and take decisive actions quickly under pressure.
Adhering to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines & procedures.
Alternating shift pattern of 4 on / 4 off
4 shifts 6.00 am > 06.15 pm – 4 off
4 shifts 6.00 pm > 06.15 am – 4 off
HNC/ONC in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
Previous Experience (preferred, not essential)
Experience of semiconductor equipment servicing.
Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic aptitude and experience.
Computer Literate, Dextrous, High Attention to Detail
